Here's a revision of the rules written in a clearer and more formal manner:
A student must attain a minimum attendance of 75% to be eligible to sit for the final examinations.
Examinations will only be conducted at their scheduled times; no alternative arrangements will be made.
Parents or guardians are kindly requested to review their wards' result cards and return them, duly signed, to the class teacher within three days.
Signatures on the progress report must match the specimen signature provided in the diary or admission form of the student.
The results announced at the end of the academic year are considered final, and requests for re-examination will not be entertained.
Students who are absent for any examination subject will be marked as such and will not be considered for any ranking. In cases of severe illness, a medical certificate must be provided. There will be no provision for re-examination.
Any student found engaging in malpractices during examinations will face the consequence of being disqualified from further examinations.
Promotion criteria after the Final Examination include achieving a minimum of 40% marks in all papers, calculated based on both examination scores and internal assessments conducted by the school throughout the year. The promotion of students who were absent from exams/tests due to illness or genuine reasons will be evaluated based on their academic performance during the year.
These rules and regulations are outlined in accordance with the policies of Fatima Convent Primary School regarding examinations and promotions.
