Important Communication Guidelines

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope this message finds you well. At Fatima Convent Primary School, effective communication between the school and parents/guardians is crucial for the holistic development of our students. To ensure seamless communication and cooperation, we kindly request your attention to the following guidelines:

  1. Daily Check of School Diary: Parents/guardians are kindly requested to check their ward's school diary daily. It is essential to note any instructions or remarks provided therein. Your signature serves as acknowledgment that you have read and understood the remarks. Failure to do so may hinder the communication process and affect your child's progress.
  2. Communication Protocol: All communication intended for the Principal should be routed through the respective class teacher. Please ensure that your child's admission number, class, and section are clearly mentioned in all correspondences.
  3. Update Contact Information: Kindly inform the school promptly in case of any change in your address, occupation, or contact numbers. This can be done by submitting a written application to the class teacher.
  4. Regular Website Check: We encourage parents/guardians to regularly visit our school portal or website to stay informed about school activities, announcements, and other important information.
  5. Scheduled Meetings: Parents/guardians are welcome to meet the Principal and teachers during designated visiting hours. However, contacting them directly over the phone is discouraged. For a meeting with the Principal, we appreciate if you could schedule an appointment in advance to ensure adequate time for addressing your concerns.
  6. Expressing Concerns: Should you have any concerns regarding your child's scholastic or non-scholastic performance, or any other matter impacting their progress, please communicate through the school diary. If your concerns remain unaddressed within three working days, you may escalate the matter by either sending an email to the Principal or requesting a meeting with the Coordinator/HM/Principal, depending on the gravity of the issue.
  7. Direct Interaction with Parents: To prevent misunderstandings, the school prefers direct interaction with parents rather than guardians for matters related to academic performance, behavioral issues, and administrative requirements of the child.
  8. Communication Channels: Parents are encouraged to deliver messages to the school either in person, in writing, or via telephone/electronic mail. Please refrain from relying on word-of-mouth messages through children, friends, or guardians.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these communication guidelines. By working together, we can ensure the best possible support for the academic and personal growth of our students.
